freedom of speech now officially dead

April 29, 2009

I was all excited to watch the torture debate between Cliff May (pro-torture) and Jon Stewart (host of The Daily Show). Well, Comedy Central aired a much-edited short clip of the interview, using the excuse of time constraints.

Stewart apologized and said the entire interview would be available on his site. So, I went there, and guess what? No interview!

Look, at this point in time I don’t give a flying f… if you’re pro or anti torture. On the Right or the Left? Don’t care. They (whoever the f… “they” are) have shut down the debate. They’ve shut down free speech.

If America ever really was a democracy, we’re not any more.

You know it takes several hours, if not a whole day in many cases, for a show to post it’s latest episodes/clips on their websites.
Maybe you’re overreacting just a little?
